Lester has been a dog owner and lover all his life. In 2002, he became involved with Guide Dogs for the Blind. Since then he has raised 5 puppies and has become a leader with a local Guide Dogs for the Blind Puppy-Raising group on the Peninsula. 

In August 2009, Lester earned his CTC (Certificate in Training and Counseling) from the prestigious San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, generally acknowledged as the "Harvard" of dog training schools.

Lester is a member of the Professional Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT and is continuously updating his education and dog training skills by observing dogs and people in all types of situations, professional articles, classes, experience, and networking with other trainers and professionals.
